For All The Right Reasons

Walking in whispers, in stride with all things considered
Along the fringes are the many mended fences
Any which way will do given bits of eclectic methods
It’s always revealing making sense of mixed messages

Got to do what needs to be done
For All The Right Reasons
Part of history untold is her story too
Moving past gathered crowds of rambling delirium
‘Cause I won’t be taking a seat for any lack of decorum

Ooh… ooh… ooh
What seemed forever was not so long ago
Nothing’s a waste of time when making good use of it
For All The Right Reasons

Flowers and leaves turn wisely towards the sun
I don’t know what told them to do that but I’m surely not the only one
What you make from experience can often be much more
than what happened to you back then, when it was ignored

Each of us reminds the other of what we want to remember
Getting through the hubris to the humility
We can still deal with it and not dwell with the entanglement
The time is now and not what it used to be

Ooh… ooh… ooh
What seemed forever was not so long ago
Nothing’s a waste of time when making good use of it
For All The Right Reasons

Give a deep breath… with acceptance
For all the right reasons… for all the right reasons
To be alive, is with this insight

The Undoing

*There are many ways to make things right
Only limited in how it is received
Sometimes it’s best to give it a rest
For likely it will never rightly be seen

**So with The Undoing
Is the best way to resolving or having an understanding
It is with The Undoing
That makes it accessible by changing the energy
Now to neutrality

Is The Undoing

Working on your list of issues can be freeing
Sending the healing without interfering
With no more disruptions by way of detachment
Takes the old sting out of reenactments

And with The Undoing what is left are no excuses for everything
And with The Undoing, long gone is the fear that used to be here
And now it’s not real

We are conduits for channeling the energy
By not refining it, leaving it stuck, it gets backed up

In thought repetition the circulation quickens for no reason

We have to steer clear selective to what we hear

Is The Undoing, we don’t have to think out each step it brings
Leaving ourself open to the healing, feeling the energy free flowing

Recognizing our reckonings can be so releasing
From the attachment to entanglements ends now with
The Undoing

What Goes A Long Way

Every day a discovery
Something new with what me thinks
Never intending to step on any toes
Especially in a case of cold feet

Hearing your kind words
Is a welcomed synchrony
Which gives me the impetus
To move at light speed

Often is without notice as if it lays in wait
We’re tethered here in this atmosphere, but it’s not ours to forsake

In quiet interludes the silence is heard when spoken
From the canyons we came through, lost is forgetting
What Goes A Long Way

Knowing when to say when may only depend
What’s given up before it’s all gone
Is What Goes A Long Way

When we’re all in possibility begins
Not prone to deviate
Is What Goes A Long Way

The end of intensity brings with it an understanding
That keenly awaits our awakening
With urgency before it’s too late

The embers of desire lay drenched in the fallen rain
As the only real fire stays in the heart to remain

As nourished, we’re vitalized
By and by the zeitgeist of life
As separate from self-image
Is What Goes A Long Way

As Close As Can Be

*We weren’t willing to be denied our own experience
It’s been some time since we’ve gone our own ways
From where we carved out our names with dates

Still, we’re close… As Close Can Be

With unbridled determination always was a good time to leave
So many unanswered questions it was naive to believe
Not accepting the status quo was something we never wanted to know
We wouldn’t go along pretending ‘till we had something to show

Still, we’re close… As Close Can Be

Telepathically linked in thought as impartial as it may seem
Bridging barriers of concepts with the love that comes naturally
Complementing our contrasting colors parallel in perpetual motion
Our harmony is with one another
Assimilating is the compassion

Still, we’re close… As Close Can Be

The connection we feel today is that we’re one in the same
Willing to go the long haul and ride out the rainy days
We’re concentric circles sharing the same center
Crossing paths in the long journey with the breath of surrender

*
Still, we’re close… As Close Can Be
Close As Can Be

With unbridled determination always was a good time to leave
So many unanswered questions it was naive to believe

But still, we’re close… As close can be
Still, we’re close… As Close Can Be
Close As Can Be

Win or lose is your choice to choose
So be with it…
In Content

Getting through straight to the chase
Where the surrounding is evident

I choose you only if you do choose me
Remembering the initial offering
So be with it…
In Content

Realizing our dream from where it was first seen
The sum of the parts that make it whole
Assimilate the possible

Obsession is vulnerability
That has no place in this reality
Has no space in my psyche
For the soul’s yearning to be complete
Sharing in the spirit of the self we meet

As much as loving does include you
To be here with me
Free from interference
So be with it…

The air is filled with the fiber of our being’s essence
And the aptness is
So be with it…
In Content

Having given up most everything we’ve come to know
Surviving any doubt only knows this love as whole

Obsession is vulnerability
That has no place in this reality
Has no space in my psyche
For the soul’s yearning to be complete
Sharing in the spirit of the self we meet

If or when something suggests questioning our best
The intent must be clear, as it is here with you

I choose you only if you do choose me
Remembering what’s meant of the soul’s yearning
So be with it…

That’s My M.O.

Don’t mess with me or my modus operandi
It’s the way I roll, That’s My M.O.

*Ranting pleas with limits of one way
Gather dust ensuring a long wait
While catching the breeze knowing just what’s up
That’s enabling giving freely to be what we must

Don’t mess with me or my modus operandi
It’s the way I roll, That’s My M.O.

**Close or far depending where we are
Is similar yielding to polestars
We’re singular with our signature
Insofar what is defined by our nature

***With current fingerprints that are never identical
It says something about the features of the individual

****No method is madness when it’s all due process
But freedom doesn’t mean we’re entitled to do as we please
What’s riding these creative waves is the balance of our receptivity
Circular in the love of accepting

Don’t mess with me or my modus operandi
It’s the way I roll, That’s My M.O.

Using rocket science
To launch some common sense
Is a half empty, half full glass that toasts to
Semantics, fanatics, and fools

Regarding Stacking Stones

You can be sure that things are not what they seem to be
No reaction to listening ultimately leads
To a neutral tone with nothing to prove or loose
Which makes it better now that later with more to undo

I now see what eluded me digging deep in discovery
The best respect I can give you is to be judgement free
Realizing how we each see with our own set of circumstance
No matter what I say to you, it’s relatively speaking
Of the absolute

Hindsight is helpful
Knowing when to leave well enough alone
Remembering what already has been said and done
Regarding Stacking Stones

There’s no weight without measure
In the eyes of the bias
And the toll that is paid is plenty well spent

Allure Of Grandeur

A ricochet reaction
The long way back to compassion
Who knew it was just a matter of when
At the drop of a hat seemed so sudden

The ardent thirst came and went
And with it in tow, all the racket around it
Even though what seemingly went off without a hitch
In lieu I’m still left with this

Advent as it still persists
And does endeavor to exist

*In the Allure Of Grandeur
Gives time to pause for enchantment
To what catches the eye
Is forever fleeting from our own insight

The Allure Of Grandeur can never fill the shoes
Of the love that I have for you
The Allure Of Grandeur maneuvers in place
But will never replenish or replace

When too top heavy eventually topples down
What’s inside out has the right side in reverse now
The background moves to the foreground
It diverged when the straight traversed

And still persists as does the endeavor to exist

*
**The Allure Of Grandeur can never fill the shoes
Of the love that I feel for you
The Allure Of Grandeur maneuvers in place
But will never replenish or replace

The tattered past has been tethered way too long
Found in the outer fringes in the search for the meaning lost

Without mistake, now is the perfect place
That’s been transformed to make this day
Let it be said I can appreciate
What’s been molded and made
No longer stands in my way
For it is clear and austere in the Allure Of Grandeur

The advent still persists along with this endeavor to exist

One Iota

A pinch of particles, I’m One Iota
A dash of this, a dab of that, I’m One Iota
Directly connected, I’m One Iota
You won’t see a piece of me, but I’m One Iota

For a frame of reference in this perspective
On a grand scale of magnitude
Is a macrocosm in existence
Which includes me and you

Hitch hiking rides on our orbiting earth
Ooh, taking a spin on what has been our home to roam

As we epitomize ourselves as the core universe
Just like a real big fish does in a little stream
Even though our neighbors may view us as quite small
Trivial as we may be
In fact we’re still part of it all in this cosmos’ reality

Trifle, but still true, I’m One Iota
Tiny and infinitesimal, I’m One Iota
Just one more molecule, I’m One iota
More portions of particles, I’m One Iota

Then love enters the equation in random selection
My particles do love yours
In this magnetic field of operation

Taking a spin on what has been our home to roam
Earth is part of this whole dynamo

Even though our neighbors view us as quite small
We’re still part of it all
Encompassing the imaginable

We may be just particles
Some trace elements or specks of a smidgen
But our precision is in
The scintilla of minuscule detail

A pinch of particles, I’m One Iota
A dash of this, a dab of that, I’m One Iota
Directly connected, I’m One Iota
You won’t see a piece of me, but I’m One Iota
I’m One Iota

Around About Now

On a canvas of color reflecting to another

Summary of what used to be
But without notice it begins juxtaposing

A watershed moment
Anytime soon was okay

Blessings are not always so obvious
Smiling over older criteria

For what I do is not who I am
Winds shuffle games of crossword puzzles
What I saw was without looking
Transparent to hearing was listening

Around About Now, it was Around About Now

*The inertia rolls along spellbound from its own origin
What’s said to be not so stops sudden with an outcome uncertain
Around About Now

Lost acumen re-creates occasions

As the unknowing is more of the same
’Cause we do it over and over again

The fraternity of feelings hits a bump in the road

Because the love we’re looking for is only what we already are

So, give it up to what it is we are
We’re a well that never runs dry
When we honor what others feel they know
It becomes something transposed

Around About Now…
